October already, and it is getting cold at the night.
Today is a beautiful day in fall, and we went with our grandkids Lea and Shirin into the woods to make firewood. It is time to get ready for the Canadian Winter.
The wood we wanted to collect is in a very enchanting place. It has a beautiful smell, and we have the feeling of being in a Cathedral of nature, with old and very high trees around us, the sun shining through the Treetops.
The kids started to hug the trees and to look around, finding gems of nature, old tree roots covered with moss orย mushrooms on an old tree stump.
Later we went to another place to cut two dry and dead trees.
In the afternoon, we went back home to feed the chicken and our baby goat Sucky.
She needs to be fed because her mother is the oldest goat, now 11 years old, and she does not have enough milk for Sucky.
See the Video of our day in Fall October 2015.
I hope you like to see one of our days here at our farm and maybe feel the beauty of nature here.
Some of you may remember Survi; she was a baby goat when she showed up in one of Gavin Mountford’s
webinars ๐ Did you ever see a goat in a webinar for marketers? ๐

Wow Erika,
That was great! I enjoyed this video because I felt like I was right there in the woods with you and your grand kids. They are adorable by the way! It is great seeing you in the “enchanted forest” and then you beautiful goats.
Deep inside I always wanted to live like that….more off the grid, but I can do it now vicariously from you.
Thank you for this nature part of my day.

and it took you here with us . Yes ,the kids
are good girls and enjoy the nature and helping us.
Specially they like to feed the little goat and play
with it .It is not everybody’s thing to live off grid,
Donna . We are used to it ,but I see when people come
the difference .
Happy we could be your nature part of the day ๐

As always, a beautiful post by a beautiful soul!
I, too, love being in nature. It’s wonderful that you share these times with your Grandchildren so they too can learn to appreciate the beauty and special spirit that you find there. Love the video!
We too are experiencing lower temperatures here in the desert, a welcome change. I look forward to not using the air conditioning at all! We don’t get snow here but some night can be in the upper 30’s in the winter here and there. I look forward to it!
Thank you for sharing the beauty of your world Erika.

Thank you for sharing your day. You have such a wonderful life and I would love to be able to live like that. We have been lucky so far in the UK with our October temperatures although they have said it is starting to cool down now and we culd get the tail end of a hurricane at the weekend. All the best.

I just found your comment in the spam ,good I saw it is from you ๐
You are welcome ,I am happy you liked the post Merle.
It is nice here and the nature is beautiful ,but it is not
everybody’s thing to live like this . It is pretty empty here.
Not many people around and far from town ,gut to have the internet.
Here it got colorful in between and the nights are getting cold.
I hope you have some nice days in fall.
Thank you
Erika
