Is There Hope In Chaos? Can there be chaos in a perfect universe?
It seems that we live in chaos rather than in a perfect universe in our time. Everything in the world seems to be falling apart right now. Climate change, hate speech on the Internet, consumption, capitalism, legal pressure. In our society, chaos has broken out.
Fear rules the world, and many are disturbed, not knowing what the future may bring and where the chaos of current world affairs could lead us.
But isn’t there perhaps also the potential for something new in all this confusion, and maybe everything is not as wrong as it seems at first glance? And what is the only thing that still helps with all the fake and bad news and chaos? Hope, Faith!
We live in a perfect universe, even if we perceive things as imperfect. From our frog perspective, we only see glimpses of the big picture. If we could see the whole from a higher perspective, we would realize that everything is perfectly balanced by the laws of the universe.
“The natural laws of the universe are so PRECISE that we do not have any difficulty building a spaceship, sending a person to the moon, and we can time the landing with the precision of a fraction of a second.“-Dr. Warner Von Braun,
It is the beauty of creation; everything is tenderly balanced.
So tenderly, you cannot disturb it. That shows the mastery of the Creator. – Jaggi Vasudev Sadhguru
We live in a perfect universe.
We, humans, are gods’ highest form of creation. How can we be imperfect? It is our perception and lack of awareness, judgment, critic, attachment, and not accepting and willing to take the experience of life as it is.
We see ourselves as imperfect and do judge ourselves and others. We all have flaws, but we can accept them or change them. Would it not be a boring life if everything remained the same? How could we learn and grow? We all have magic in our minds, which we can use to live our full potential and change the world.
Here is a beautiful story that can remind us that we do not see all there is to see in this world. If we could oversee all from a higher perspective, we would realize that we live in a perfect universe.
The Broken Pot Story
A water bearer in India had two large pots; each hung on an end of a pole which he carried across his neck. One of the pots had a crack in it, and while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water. The cracked pot arrived only half full at the end of the long walk from the stream to the master’s house.
This went on daily for a full two years, with the bearer delivering only one and a half pots full of water in his master’s house. Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments, perfect to the end for which it was made. But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection and miserable that it could accomplish only half of what it had been made to do. After two years of what it perceived to be a bitter failure, it spoke to the water bearer one day by the stream.
“I am ashamed of myself, and I want to apologize to you.”
“Why?” asked the bearer. “What are you ashamed of?”
“I have been able, for these past two years, to deliver only half my load because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your master’s house. Because of my flaws, you have to do all of this work, and you don’t get full value from your efforts.” the pot said.
The water bearer felt sorry for the old cracked pot, and in his compassion, he said, “As we return to the master’s house, I want you to notice the beautiful flowers along the path.”
Beautiful wildflowers
Indeed, as they went up to the hill, the old cracked pot took notice of the sun warming the beautiful wildflowers on the side of the path, and this cheered it some. But at the end of the trail, it still felt bad because it had leaked out half its load, and so again, the Pot apologized to the bearer for its failure.
The bearer said to the pot, “Did you notice that there were flowers only on your side of your path but not on the other pot’s side? That’s because I have always known about your flaw, and I took advantage of it. I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back from the stream, you’ve watered them. For two years, I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate my master’s table. Without you being just the way you are, he would not have this beauty to grace his house.”
A beautiful story that shows that all is right as it is, even if we do not see it.

The thing about chaos is that while it disturbs us, it too forces our hearts to roar in a way we secretly find magnificent.

We Live In A Perfect Universe where everything is possible
Each of us has unique flaws, like the cracked pot, but we can all be useful, despite our flaws. We have just to accept ourselves for what we are.
The same is true for situations; we have to accept what is to be able to change it. The world as we know it is just dissolving. But behind it, a new world comes together, a formation which we can create.
Also, we can change our weakness to strength.
We have just to take each person and situation for what they are and look for the good in them.
In this perfect universe, everything has a reason.

The Universe always delivers the good for us, even though the crack of least resistance.

Hi Dr.Erica,
Yes, sometimes we need a reminder.
We can see the good in everything if we only
can be aware of it. If we look back or
look out of a higher perspective all is
for a reason. I am glad you liked the post
and the message.

Hello ma’am
Very interesting story. “When you realize how perfect everything is, you’ll tilt your head back and laugh at the sky” and this is truly right.
Things seem to be messy in the first but go on they become perfect.
Thank you for sharing such a good wonderful article.

You are right, things seem to be messy, but if we look back,
we see often it was for a reason. We learn and grow through
this. If we do not learn it will repeat until we learn it.

Hi Erika,
Enjoyed reading this post and the great story. No one is perfect in this world and we all have some kind of flaws in our self, and it is better we accept this as soon as possible and enjoy the beauty of this life. Anyone who thinks he/she is perfect is living in a world of dream.
Hi Bharat,
No one is perfect, but you have permission to be imperfect in this
is the perfection of the universe. We are allowed to have flaws and make mistakes.
If we are not challenges by mistakes how can we grow and get better?
Through this challenges we get to our dreams.
I am glad you liked the story
