Is it possible to achieve whatever you want?
Yes, you can achieve whatever you want.
“And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”― Paulo Coelho.
We all have dreams and want to achieve goals in life. And our goals are usually linked to specific actions.
Setting goals in life is undoubtedly an essential aspect of being successful. Most people know how to set goals; we can see it theoretically in numerous books and courses. It is about formulating specific, measurable, attractive, realistic, and often time-bound goals. And the focus here is clearly on the action. It doesn’t always work that easily.
Even today, the media and society tell us how we should be to be successful. The slogans are everywhere.
They show us examples, but do we see more than the facade? What is the truth behind it? Is it what You want, how You want to Be?
What is your definition of success?
How does your successful life look?
Have you considered whether your goal and dream align with your purpose and personality?
“Keep big goals at the back of your mind and the next imperfect steps in the front of your mind.”-Dan Rockwell.
You may set yourself a goal in the professional or private area and not get to it. It can have two different reasons.
You can set goals for action about what you want to do. Or you focus on the outcome. Your primary focus should be that you achieve a goal no matter how.
Why not focus on the outcome?
You accomplish a goal more easily if you have the right attitude and can identify yourself with the outcome of it. When you strive to achieve a goal but don’t identify with it, you would always try to reach the goal and probably never make it.
Try it this way:
- See yourself at your goal.
- Change your perspective.
- Look closely at how you feel about and perceive yourself.
Ask, “Who do I want to be?” and not “What do I want to achieve?”
Seeing yourself as the person who reached the goal is more effective than focusing only on action results.
Focus more on the process and less on the result.- Dan Rockwell
Therefore, you must do more than write a to-do list; you must deal emotionally with your goals. Instead of just setting an action goal, think about an attitude for your new self. Feel yourself already there.
You do not need to take specific actions to begin with. Imagine the outcome; it will motivate you more and give you the right mindset to achieve your goals without forcing yourself to do a task and putting it off again.
Instead, you should set a goal that influences your overall attitude and personality, regardless of individual experiences. Decide that you want to be more relaxed and less stressed, and first, choose a goal that does not yet imply a concrete action.
If you know your Why, the universe will take care of the How
It really works; it works for me. Looking back on my life, I always received and achieved what I wanted. It is not always the way away we think it should be. The universe has its own time and ways, and I learned to trust. The feeling of doubt will pull you back from what you want. Feeling is the key; feel the way you want to be.
There’s a power flowing into our consciousness that is without form. We’re going to give it form.- Bob Proctor
Visualize yourself as the person in your dream or goal. How do you want to BE? Ask yourself who you want to become and what you wish your new self to look like. Act as if you were already on the goal.
Tell yourself: I am brave. I am a winner, and I am successful and feel it.
The feeling is a key to attracting what you want.
Ideas for action steps will come to you, and you will achieve what you want.
As Henry David Thoreau said:
“I learned this, at least, by my experiment: that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.”
What can hold you back?
Do not see things as good or bad; see them as learning experiences. Look for the good. Lower your expectations, and take small steps that bring you results.
Not everything has to be perfect. It gives you more confidence if you get results and accomplish something.
Clear your mind of these Slogans: struggle, difficulties, pain, suffering, depression, procrastination, failure, mistakes, anxiety, and stress.
Slogans are everywhere, and they influence you.
The things that are the process of life are now made into slogans coined to hold you back.
Unconsciously, you expect it.
But it is just part of life that makes us experienced, more decisive, and grow.
They make you believe that you need to be a Millionaire (= another slogan) to be happy and successful in life.
Don’t be discouraged.
These slogans are for people who forget that we have divine guidance. There is greatness in you.
We create what we want first in our minds; it does not come from outside.
Whatever you can see around you was first thought before it became a thing—for example, a chair, a building, a car, a book, or your shirt.
“Everything is created twice. Everything was first a thought before it could become a thing. Whatever image your mind clings to will tend to replicate itself in your real world.” – Mary Morrissey.
Bob Proctor said: “If you can see it in your mind, then you can hold it in your hands.”
Wallace D. Wattles talks about the thinking stuff:
“There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe. A thought, in this substance, produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.
Man can form things in his thought, and, by impressing his thought upon formless substance, can cause the thing he thinks about to be created.”
In the Upanishads, Karana Chitta is the superconscious mind, the mind-stuff or mental substance.
Visualize and feel what you want and take action; you will achieve it.
If more people would focus on feeling what they want and achieving it instead of what they do not want, the world would be a better place.
What about you?
